Council 11518 officials, directors installed

MANILA, August 13, 2009—The Most Holy Redeemer Parish Council 11518 of the Diocese of Cubao recently held the installation of its council officers and induction of service program directors.

Dubbed as the “13th Installation of Council Officers and Induction of Service Program Directors for the Columbian Year 2009-2010, the event was held last month at the Malac St. Brgy. Masabong, Quezon City.

The council officers installed for the Columbian Year 2009-2010 were: Grand Knight Armando C. Busmente; Deputy Grand Knight Enrique B. Estepa; Chancellor Rafael H. Espena; Financial Secretary Dante C. Sayco; Recorder Elpidio L. Zabat; Warden Nicolas AR Grageda; Treasurer Noel T. Cariño; Lecturer Reynaldo Pascua, PGK FFN; Advocate Bobby Uy; Inside Guard Perfecto O. Ogerio; and Outside Guard Manolo Falconi.

The following trustees were also installed, namely, Antonio U. Tugelida; Loreto P. Sarmiento; and Jaime C. Gonzales.

The directors inducted were: Program Director Enrique B. Estepa; Membership Director Elpidio L. Zabat; Church Chairman Eddie Dela Cruz; Community Chairman Noel T. Cariño; Council Chairman Dante C. Sayco; Family Director Bobby Uy; and Youth Chairman Mike Villanueva.

The installation ceremony was headed by District Deputy Nestor S. Correa and the District Warden Thomas T. Dizon.

GK Busmente gave his inaugural speech on behalf of the council officials and its members while Correa rendered his inspirational message.

Luzon State Secretary Arsenio Isidro Yap was the guest of honor during the installation.
He gave a heartwarming message on the symbolism of the Supreme Council Convention pin which speaks of a special kind of brother among fellow knights.

“I say we are the men in the “Bayanihan,” (which was the design chosen for the pin) brothers all are we, united, ready to extend a helping hand to a neighbor for the good of our faith, our country and our fellowman. We are the knights, volunteers yesterday, today and tomorrow,” he said. (KCFAPI News)
